Nina Evarkiou, Executive Director Professionally, Executive Director, Catherine Nina Evarkiou has held diverse positions ranging from teaching Humanities and Literature at Grossmont College, SDSU and Point Loma Nazarene University to serving as Vice President and COO of Café La Maze, a privately held corporation which operated three restaurants. In addition, she is currently active as a real estate consultant with Prudential California Realty.Ms. Evarkiou, a native San Diegan, began her musical and artistic enterprises as a young girl in her home town. She continued her education and musical training at Pomona College where she completed a double BA in French and English Literature. She subsequently earned an MA in Comparative Literature at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and continued her studies of French Literature at the Sorbonne and Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris. Ms. Evarkiou continues to be an avid supporter of the arts in San Diego. She has two musician children: Adrian, a senior in high school who plays the violin; and Anatolia, a flute performance major at Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
