Intermediate Symphony Mr. Hernan Constantino, accepts young, intermediate musicians and develops them into promising Young Artists. With a few years of growth, dedication and confidence, students learn the disciplines and responsibilities required for orchestra performance. The Intermediate Symphony contributes to YAS's future strings, winds, brass, and percussion sections. We invite beginners to join this fun, remarkable program.YA SymphonyThe YA Symphony is a full-size orchestra which plays complete symphonies and other large-orchestra works. There are principal players for each section chosen by audition. Seating auditions for all players will be held at the beggining of the semester. Sectionals with professional musicians take place throughout the year. Students in this orchestra learn how to rehearse and perform in a professional orchestra setting, and take on individual responsibility for learning their parts at home before arriving to rehearse.Concerto SoloistThe YAS program is commited to developing our young talents in the organization. This ensemble will consist of a chamber size group that will feature soloists from the members of the group. Repertoire will also include standard orchestral pieces.
