Celebration/Honorary/Memorial Gifts
Did you know you can designate your gift to the YAS to recognize someone important to you –
someone you want to celebrate, honor or pay tribute to?
If you would like to designate your gift as a tribute, you can do so simply by indicating
your intentions on your offline gift form. See
"How to Give" page.
Your tribute will be indicated on YAS concert programs and published in YAS's Newsletter.
The Sheldon D. Kaplan Memorial Scholarship Fund was established April 2005 by the Lee Kaplan
Family to honor the memory of the late Sheldon D. Kaplan who loved big band music. This gift will
provide financial support to Young Artist members when needed. Sometimes it takes this level of
generosity to change a student's life forever—to help make a dream come true. The Young Artists
wish to thank Mr. Lee Kaplan and his donor associates who made this scholarship fund possible.
