Please schedule an appointment: (619) 276-2057. Audition requirements for Young Artists STRINGS:     A. Play a 3-octave scale the following ways:         1. Slowly, whole bows, with vibrato.         2. Slurs, all the way up in one bow then all the way down in one bow—as fast as comfortable.         3. Fast separate bows.     B. Play a two-octave scale, spiccato.         1. Four bows per note.         2. Two bows per note.         3. One bow per note. All Young Artists Candidates: Play one page of an advanced piece or standard concerto that best demonstrates your technique and musicality. A relaxed body is important to a good performance.
